C3 Speakers

Before I go, here they are:

1.       Eric Doherty: He is the speaker for a vision about the Transportation Transformation. As a person who takes public transportation and who has friends who rely on it for getting from Point A to Point B, I have heard more than enough horror stories about how incredibly inefficient our transportation system is. I’d like to hear what he has to say.

2.       Ben West: He’s a slam poet.

All I need to know to know that he is absolutely awesome.

3.       Marc Lee: I’ve never heard of the Climate Justice Project, and it sounds like a pretty cool thing. I’ll ask about it when I get there, perhaps?

Colony Collapse Disorder - WIP

I'll be honest: I cried. Yeah, I'm a big blob of wibbly-wubbly gushing goo.

How could I not though? The agency that's supposed to protect the environment and us is sitting on its laurels doing absolutely nothing, and as a result, everything's going to Hell. And then it did that thing that all documentaries do and ended on a positive note and hinted that there might be hope those jerks they know just how to make things so emotional and and and and .....

Instead of wanting to create a written response right away, I finished the film with a strong urge to draw something. And so I began a sketch on Photoshop. It's not quite finished, but I'm posting the WIP for now. Eventually, I'll post the finished work and a short explanation of what's going on in it as a response.

This is what the WIP looks like.

This is what the WIP looks like in my head.

Quick note to self now that I'm looking at the picture after a little break: Move the Coat Lady over a smidgen to the right. Space between her and Sitting Lady is too big.
